ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR

STIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada.  We have an immediate opening at our London head office for the position of Accounts Payable Administrator.  This is a full-time permanent position and reports to the Accounting Supervisor.

DUTIES

  • Perform accounts payable duties – including posting and paying of invoices and employee expenses, responding to supplier and staff inquiries, general administrative and filing as required.
  • Reconciliations of bank accounts, employee expenses and supplier statements.
  • Maintain petty cash.
  • Provide backup to assist with annual audit process, and tax audits as they occur.
  • Preparing listings and reports, or assisting in data entry where required.
  • Maintain accounting controls by following company policies and procedures; complying with government requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working cooperatively within a team-oriented environment
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or related experience
  • Experience with JD Edwards and SAP software a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail and deadline oriented, while maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Administration

POSITION: Credit  Administrator

LOCATION:​   Quebec City, Quebec

OBJECTIVE:

STIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada.  We have an immediate opening at our Quebec City office for a full-time permanent Credit Administrator.  

This position will be responsible for various Credit Administration tasks approximately 60% of the time with the other 40% in a Customer Service capacity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of cash receipts
  • Send out new dealer packages, following up as required and creating new dealer files with all required documentation
  • Initiate credit investigations
  •  Set up new customers in our OneWorld system
  •  Process new Dealer and change information forms and prepare supporting letters such as welcome letter, credit limit letter and training Invitations
  • Process all changes to documentation for dealers
  • Be responsible for all dealers files keeping them up to date
  • Respond to requests from dealers for invoices/statements
  • Assist with researching outstanding miscellaneous amounts on dealers accounts
  • Releasing of orders for our dealers
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of cash receipts
  • Answering phone calls from our dealers
  • Entering orders into the system
  • Dealing with shipment errors
  • Tracking of lost boxes and shipments
  • Helping dealers with parts search
  • Keying faxed orders including seasonal promotions and various credits
  • Responsible for product certificate redemption and credit to dealers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a bilingual position.  Successful candidate must be able to communicate in French and English both written and oral
  • Three plus years’ experience working in a Credit Department
  • Three plus years Customer Service Experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a busy environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and versatility are essential
  • Experience with SAP an asset

POSITION: Lawn Systems Representative

***This is a 16 week full time summer position***

LOCATION: London, Ontario

OBJECTIVE:

STIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada.  We have an immediate opening at our London, Ontario office (1515 Sise Road, London, Ontario, N6A 4L6) for a 16-week summer contract position installing our new iMow robotic lawn mowers.  

This position will require travel across Ontario

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Installation of iMOW throughout Ontario (as far as Ottawa and Muskoka and all points in-between)

· Will work with our Dealer network in arranging end-user appointments

· Some trouble shooting of previous installs may also be required

· When not installing iMOWS you will be required to work in our London, Ontario warehouse fulfilling dealer orders

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Full unrestricted G License

· Willingness to drive a company vehicle (Van) and stay overnight for certain installs

· Detail oriented with ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and oral

· Strong interpersonal skills and patience

· Knowledge of the lawn care industry would be an asset

· Technology savvy; comfortable with digital products

· Enjoys challenging projects

WHAT STIHL OFFERS   

· 40 hours per week from Monday May 4, 2020 to Friday, August 21, 2020

·   Use of a company vehicle when travelling for work

·   All expenses covered (gas/hotel/meals) when travelling

·   Training will be provided
